Ruben & oscar bought a van in hungary and spent 3 weeks driving around remote corners of the balkans tracking down a handful of strange & beautiful structures. ably assisted throughout by vladimir jaksic & the davidović brothers, all interviews were arranged by knocking on the door of the nearest house to a monument and asking questions about utopia. All interviews were conducted over several shots of rakija. it is, however, important to note that no rakija had been consumed when ruben & oscar drove the hungarian van off the side of a small bridge in croatia.

Ljuba Stojanović hosted ruben & oscar for 4 days in the small town of aleksandrovac where he explained to them to the inner workings & socio-political structures of asomaljia- the second world.

the film was commissioned & funded by nobody but it's journey has traversed the sofas & minds of so many kind people to whom ruben & oscar remain forever grateful.
